At His Feet. [04-16-13]

Luke 10:38-42 {ESV}

[38] Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. [39] And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. [40] But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me." [41] But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, [42] but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her."

1:21(pm)

[1] Martha, Oh that's the sister that I'm like./ So occupied with doing things for Jesus that I don't spend much time with Christ./ [2] Trying to perfect the distractions when storms arise./ Instead of just kneeling to He who is on the right side./ [3] Doing a whole lot of work could be suicide./ Especially when we don't concern He who is the author of life./ [4] For me spending a second in His Presence just ain't right./ Since I got the schedule to I should go ahead and make time./ [5] Even if life gets busier there should be no excuse to find./ Like being married, but working everyday like you don't have a wife./ [6]Experience the Love of Jesus, and not just when it's spontaneous or in big arenas where the worship is so tight./ This love He gives to me is very personal a very vital importance in my life./ [7] So, why in the world would I carry stress on shoulders like I'm about to fight./ This does not make me perfect, instead it makes me realize more & more that I need The Light./ [8] I have insecurities & fears that are really just big fat lies./ Well they would stay apparent & seem truthful if I didn't seem open to Christ./ [9] So I  gotta humble myself, and rest my inside./ Have my soul calm down while I come before He who bought my life./ [10] Like I said it's one thing to get up, but another to enjoy the quiet time./ I'm trying to let it not be so quick since it disturbs my shut eye./ [11] To be honest I pray to be excited about coming to Jesus Christ./ Even if I'm dog tired, cat relaxed, in the morning noon, day, or night.
